A blend of two different clones of Grenache from Alta Colina Vineyard and La Presa Vineyard, and three different clones of Syrah (two from Watch Hill Vineyard, one from Tierra Alta Vineyard) this Rhone-style blend offers balanced tannins and plush berries in a medium-to bold-bodied, crowd-pleasing wine. Layers of plum, black raspberry, cherry & tobacco reveal themselves mid-palate, while hints of caramel and vanilla linger on the finish. We aged the Syrahs for 30 months, and the Frenache for 20 months in approximately 30% new oak, 90% of which was French oak, the 10% balance was American oak.
A blend of clones 99 & Noir, this medium-bodied, warm-climate Syrah from the Tierra Alta Vineyard in Ballard Canyon also has just a splash (2%) of Viognier. It is filled with flavors of berries - of all kinds. Soft & subtle tannins, with a little leather on the finish. Aged 30 months in 30% new French Oak.
A blend of clones 174 & 470 from Watch Hill Vineyard in Alisos Canyon AVA, with a splash (4%) of Viognier. A medium warm/cool climate Syrah, this full-bodied wine is dark, dense, chewy & almost tar-y. Aged 30 Months in 30% new French oak.
Aged 36 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak, this Barbera is dark and fruit forward, and yet cleansing on the palate. Layered notes of dark cherry, plum, blueberry and blackberry, with just hints of dried leaves and baking spice. Both high in acid and low in tannins, Chroma makes for an approachable red wine that goes well with food.
Aged for 32 months in both French and American oak, the aromas and flavors of this dense and complex Tempranillo from the Willow Creek AVA in Paso Robles are laced with black cherry, tobacco, mushroom, leather and subtle herbal notes.
This dark, full-bodied Syrah is a 60/40 blend of Syrah Clones 99 and Syrah Noir and offers complex layers of blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, allspice and tobacco - with just a hint of oak on the finish. This wine was carefully aged for 40 months in French Oak barrels.
An aroma of fruity and complex floral notes give way to white fruit and tropical flavors, including pineapple, mango and a hint of passion fruit. Integrated acidity creates a juicy yet silky and elegant mouthfeel, with a hint of ocean spray and great minerality on the lingering finish. Aged in Neutral French Oak, where it remained on the lees for 30 months for a true Rias Baixas-style wine.
This full-bodied dessert-style Syrah was vinified and fortified by Ross Rankin of Imagine Wine. It has been aged in French oak barrels for 13 years, cared for and maintained by Tomi Cellars for the last 5 of those years. Offering smooth and concentrated, mouth-filling layers of dark berries, leather & mocha.
